Stewart Island Flights

Stewart Island Flights is a locally owned and operated business, who maintain scheduled flights linking Stewart Island & Invercargill, as well as a number of exciting alternatives providing access to the more remote reaches of the island.

They operate two Britten Norman Islanders, one Piper Cherokee Six and one Cessna 185. All aircraft are maintained to the highest standard and fulfil all safety requirements.

Other Information on Stewart Island Flights

• Baggage allowance is 15kg per person. Excess baggage may be deferred until a later flight. Unnecessary baggage can be stored free of charge
• There is a car park at the airport terminal monitored with security cameras. Parking Fees: 1 day $16.00, 2 Days $23.00, 3 Days $29.00, 4 Day $34.00, $5.00 per day thereafter
• A courtesy van will meet you off the aeroplane, on Stewart Island, pick up your bags, and transfer you to our depot on the waterfront in Halfmoon Bay. Many of the motels and lodges will pick you up from the depot.
